Changing the World through Art
A Gala and Art Auction
Founded in 2006, Time In brings children out of underserved classrooms and into the world of the living arts every week of the school year, as part of their regular school day.
Time In students have visited well over 100 major contemporary art exhibits: from Murakami, Tomaselli, Mickalene Thomas and Mutu at the Brooklyn Museum to Ernesto Neto at Tanya Bonakar and Yayoi Kusama at Gagosian and David Zwirner, to Maurizio Cattelan Gutai & Picasso at the Guggenheim, to William Kentridge and DeKooning at MOMA. Time In’s Chelsea gallery is an art haven for some of the city’s youngest, most at-risk public school students who, thanks to Time In, spend every other week in our natural light studio learning opera after opera through hands-on art.
The Time In Children’s Arts Initiative is entirely funded through the generosity of individual donors, and foundations, as well as support from The National Endowment for the Arts, The New York State Council of the Arts, The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, The Catalog for Giving, The Lincoln Fund, E.H.A Foundation, The Heart & Soul Fund, The Harman Family Foundation, The Subak Family Foundation, The Kinder Morgen Foundation, among others.
Help fund Time In’s transformative work with some of the city’s youngest and most at risk kids!
