So here we go with video number 3 in this series of amazing, free, how-to-draw videos for kids everywhere!

This third video returns back to the first video where we left you, sadly, with just a head. The time has come to rectify that! Okay, but why don't we just draw the clothes and forget it, you ask?

Well, that's just not the way things work. A really good analogy: You go to the store with your best friend and you both try a particular dress or shirt on only to find that what looks good on your friend, looks hideous on you. Or vice versa. That's because we're built differently. We carry ourselves differently. So before we can put clothes on our drawing we need to know how our character is standing. How will the clothes fall? How will they look on THIS body. Will they be tight or loose and baggy. Will something look short or long, etc. You need a body first and there's no way around it. This video is for the body only. It will teach you a lot about the way proportions function so that you can use what you've learned for other drawings. And that gives you the freedom to invent your own characters.
